BrightBound

This game was developed over the course of one week for the LÖVE 2D 2024 game jam. The theme for this jam was INTERFACE, which inspired me to make a puzzle platformer where the primary mechanic is centered around the player manipulating the brightness setting of the game. By manipulating the brightness in game, certain platforms and hazards that blend into the background can no longer be touched by the player, giving the player unique ways to complete each level!

If you are on windows, download and extract the .zip file and run the exe file within. If you already have love installed (version 11.5) feel free to directly run the .love file.

Sincerest apologies to Mac and Linux users who will be unable to run the game.

CONTROLS

"A" and "D" to move left and right

"Space" to jump

"S" to fall through platforms

"Escape" to reset
